Victoria Beckham can finally say with confidence people take her seriously as a designer. She’s been working pretty hard to achieve this position and now there is the reward. She has been nominated for the British Fashion Award. Not she exactly, but her brand – Victoria Beckham.
Yesterday, the British Fashion Council announced the nominees. The list of those includes new names along with already well-known. And Victoria Beckham brand is competing for the award with iconic Burberry, youthful Mulberry and eccentric Pringle of Scotland. It is a great honor indeed. Congratulations, Victoria!
Besides, we can congratulate Lara Stone and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley for they’ve been nominated for Model Of The Year. Good job, girls!
This year’s nominees were chosen by the British Fashion Council Press Committee that includes chair Lucy Yeomans, editor of BritishHarper’s Bazaar, Alexandra Shulman, editor of British Vogue, and Sarah Mower, BFC Ambassador for Emerging Talent and Vogue.comcontributor.
The winners will be announced at the end of the year, on December 7, 2010 at London’s Savoy Hotel.
